The French Lace front Wig:
The French Lace front Wig is the most popular wig on the market because of its durability and affordability.
French lace is slightly thicker as compared to the Swiss Lace . This does not mean that it is visible.
A good many people prefer to use French lace as a base for full lace wigs because of its durability and the fact that it cannot be seen. You can get this base in different colours perfectly matched to the colour of your scalp and face. Celebrities including Tyra Banks, Brandy, Mary J Blige and the Queen of lace wigs Beyonce Knowles wear it.

The Swiss Lace front Wig:
Full lace wigs / front lace wigs made from Swiss lace are much less detectable than French lace as it is much finer than french lace, however Swiss lace wigs are less durable.
Swiss lace wigs are not recommended for first time lace wig wearers.

The Thin skin monofilament:
Wigs that are made with the monofilament base are the most natural looking of them all. This is due to the thin skin looking exactly like your own scalp close up. This type of wig is not recommended for long term wearers because the material does not allow the scalp to breathe as well as the French or Swiss lace . It is only recommended for those who may have lost their hair due to medical treatment, which won’t be growing back at the time of use.
One of the first and most important points to remember is that a wig has to fit correctly on your head. In order to get a great fit you need to take the correct measurements of your head.
